Hickstead

Just returned from a visit to Hickstead! I was so pleased that the character of the show is still there!  It was brilliant to jump in all of the grass rings, and see so many people I've not seen for years. The horses jumped superbly!
Ollie (Bugatti B) had a ninth place in a strong 140m in the main ring out of over 100 starters,
Dolly (Dolores P) came 8th in the Talent Seekers jumping a fast double clear in a class with as much talent as I've seen in a long time.
Minty ( Fabienne C) had two placings in the Newcomers and qualified for the Novice Championship on the final day gaining some valuable experience in the fantastic ring!

Unaffiliated Show Jumping Competition - 7th August

We had a fantastic turnout for our summer show! The highlight of the day has to be Class 6 - Ride and Run which involved a rider jumping a course of 6 jumps with a can of pop in their pocket, and then handing the can to the runner who had to down it as quickly as possible before completing the course on foot! We have discovered a lot of new talents from this class alone!
If you attended the show you will know that we had a photographer from 'It's All About Equestrian' who is publishing the photos from the day on their website www.itsallaboutequestrian.co.uk.
However, here are a few of the highlights!
We look forward to welcoming you all to our next show in September! Dates will be published here, and on our facebook page as soon as they are confirmed.
Thanks to everyone that attended! We hope you all had fun!
